Attach a domain and get SSL

In the examples, app123 is your username and SERVER_IP is your server address — both are on the Access tab of your App Hosting account in the console.

At your DNS provider, point the domain to your server:

A
example.com → SERVER_IP
the domain itself
A
www.example.com → SERVER_IP
optional — if it points here too, www is added to the same certificate
  1. Wait until the DNS change is visible (usually minutes, sometimes a few hours).
  2. In the console, open your App Hosting account → Domains, enter the domain and press Add domain.
  3. The SSL certificate is issued within seconds and renews itself. If DNS was not ready yet, press Issue SSL later.

Remove any AAAA (IPv6) record that points somewhere else — it would make the domain check fail. A domain can belong to only one account.
