Connect over SSH or SFTP

In the examples, svm123 is your username and SERVER_IP is your server address — both are on the Access tab of your SVM in the console.

Use the username and password from the Access tab:

# Linux, macOS, Windows 10+ (PowerShell)
ssh svm123@SERVER_IP

For FileZilla, WinSCP or Cyberduck, create an SFTP connection with:

host

SERVER_IP

your server address from the Access tab

port

SFTP runs over SSH, so the port is the same

user

svm123

your username and password from the Access tab

Prefer keys? Paste your public key (ssh-ed25519 …) into SSH keys on the Access tab. Passwords can be reset there too.
